The next morning, Star runs off to meet up with Mr. Jin. When he gets there, he finds that the two of them have been hanging out together. Star tells him that he's been worried about him lately, and that he wants to talk to him. Star says that he sent him some money a month ago to help him get out of school. He tells him to eat more, since he doesn't need it. Star promises that he will earn money on his own to support him, and he tells Star to meet him that night. He says that it's his talk before they meet. Star admits that he thought he was poor from the beginning, but that he didn't tell her because he was afraid that she would be angry. He also says that she hates his parents, who were "opportunistic and unscrupulous" . Star agrees that he can forgive him, but he says that his salary is the only thing that keeps him from doing so. He wishes that he and Star could set things straight in the future, so that they don't have to deal with each other's problems anymore. Star thanks him for working so hard to tell him the truth, and says he misses him very much. He wants to know what's going on with the family business, and Star says he'll find out.
