In this chapter, the piano teacher tells the students that he will not allow anyone to use his room to play. He tells them that he is a philanthropist who has come to practice the piano because he wants to give back to the community. He is sorry that he has been misunderstood. He says that he still does not want the community to know that he likes to play the instrument because of the loss of his family. He hopes that his students will work hard to improve their performance.
