The next morning, the secretary asks the kid if he and the other students have resumed their awkward relationship. The kid tells the secretary that his boss is "so scary" and that his friend is "quite annoying" . The secretary tells the kid that her boss is actually nice and that her friend is annoying because he suddenly showed up at the school one night. She tells the boy that she had to cover up the incident with her mother and that she is always worrying about what will happen if something happens. The boy asks the secretary what happened to him, and the secretary tells him that it was "just some trivialities." The boy wonders why he always has the recorder in his room, and wonders if it is the recorder for the piano player. He asks the girl why she always has it in the room for him. The girl says that it must be because he is in the only room in the school, and she wonders if the teacher is the only person in the class who practices the piano. The teacher tells her that he has been complaining to her in the office about the sound of the school building, and that he wants to donate money to the school to renovate its building
