In this chapter, the Governess tells the boy that he is "feeble" , and that he has "seen it all" . The Governess asks the boy if he can transform into a handsome man, and if he has the ability to "sing or shake or sai sai." The boy replies that he does not have the ability, but that he will try to cheat his way through the school. He is also told that his mother wants him to take over some of the company's branches, including some restaurants, hotels, and shopping malls. He says that he doesn't know what happened to the enterprise, but he knows that someone is "causeting trouble" for his family. The two of them decide to switch back and forth between the two sides of the argument, and the boy says that his current progress is due to the fact that he works harder than others. He adds that he hates how he made no progress after trying hard, but "that silly smile" of hiss kept him going. He tells his mother that he won't allow anyone else to enter the company, because the equipment they sell is of "low quality." He also tells her that one of her employees is being fired shortly after his return, because she is a "young girl" who has "bad intentions." The two decide to kick her out because it is affecting her work efficiency.
