About This Chapter
Yuncang asks why his father is there, and the latter replies that he doesn't know his son well, but that he wants to be lenient with him. He tells him to give the legal department the key points from the documents he's compiled, and to tell them whether or not the first thing he should do is apologize to his parents, or ask why he hasn't been lying to him. The latter says that he just found out that his parents are suing him and his brother for money, and that he asked the secretary to do the job. The two men agree that their businesses will not be affected by the lawsuit, but they are sorry to have placed the burden on them. The father asks why he didn't tell him sooner, and he says he was afraid that he would favor his son's family, and not cooperate in the lawsuit. He says that if he hadn't told him, he wouldn't have been able to help his son, and it would have had an adverse effect on his business. He adds that he is the one who has destroyed his family, not the father, and says that it's not appropriate for him to vent his anger on his boss.
