In this chapter, we learn that Fu Si has seized control of the city, and that he plans to go to a place called the "yun-qi-zong" , where spirits and cultivators can live together. Fu Si asks why he is suddenly mentioning the place, and he says that he doesn't know how the place will turn out, since there is no place for interaction between the outside world and the spirit world. He also says that the elders left the matter to him to see how the second prince would handle it. He says that if he rejects the place immediately, he will be seen as rude to the spirits, so he suggests that they go to the place on the behalf of the "wolf clan" . He tells them that if they refuse, they will not be seen to be rude, so they won't need to do anything for the wolf clan. He adds that they are still young, and they will be able to understand everything he has to say. He then apologizes to the girls, saying that he is proud of them for thinking of him when he was so young. He asks if he still hates cultivators, and she says that she does.
