The narrator says that this is the first time he has ever thought of a good way for a young person to get drunk, and he wonders if the liquor in the scene is good enough for the young person. He decides to try a little of the liquor, which he brings from his house. He gulps it down, and it tastes good. He drinks another glass, and this time it is even better. He then asks the girl to stop teasing him, but she refuses, saying that if he cannot drink, he should not force himself to drink. The girl says that if a person cant drink, they shouldnt force themselves to drink, but if they can't, they should force themselves. She says that the young people shouldn't drink too much, because if they do, they will provoke the person, and if they don't provoke, they won't be able to drink at all.
