This chapter opens with a conversation between a young man and a young woman. The young man asks the woman if she is okay, and the woman replies that she is. She tells the young man that she has come to see him, but she has made a contract with him, and he has chosen her as his partner. He tells her that he is here to marry her, but that he has made the contract with her, and that she can work as much as she wants with him if she wants, but only if he is an outsider. This is not to interfere with her personal life, he says, but to test his partner's skills. He says that he will follow the young woman behind, and tells her to stop fighting with him. He also says that if they are hurt, it will be bad for them, so they should stop fighting
