About This Chapter
The Emperor of Langye has a wild ambition. He also wants to give his crown prince of Yuyao another chance. The Emperor tells him that the kingdom is still in Langye, and that they must keep the secret "low-key" so that no one will know about it. He tells the Prince that the Emperor wants to die. The Prince says that he can't convince the Emperor to let go of his power because the Emperor has gotten himself into a "dead corner." The Prince asks the Prince why he didn't tell him earlier about the way to treat the cold toxin. When the Prince asks why he hasn't told the Emperor about this, the Prince replies that he's never wanted to kill the Emperor. He's just wanted to "bury himself with" the Emperor like a fool.
