In this chapter, we learn that the davinci prince, who is also known as the "crown prince" of daxie, has come to visit his childhood friend, the "king of langye" . The two men are caught in the middle of a political crisis, and the emperor of the neighboring kingdom of Yuyao has sent a letter to the crown prince asking him to help him. The crown prince, however, is not interested in helping the emperor, and he tells the two men that he does not want to see them getting involved in a sexual relationship. He tells them that he discovered their relationship when he was a spy for the king of yuyao, who was being bewitched by the king's son. When he realized that the son was trying to seduce him, he asked one of his subordinates to come and teach the son a lesson, but the man was bought by a third prince of the kingdom, who tried to steal the secret of the cultivation methods from the prince.
