The chapter opens with a conversation between Hiroshi and his son. Hiroshi tells his son that he thinks it's a bad idea for Hiroshi's parents to be too involved in their children's lives. He tells Hiroshi that he doesn't think he's meddling too much in his son's life. He says that if he were involved too much, he'd never be able to do anything good. He also says that Hiroshi has given him full control over the decisions that are made in the anime, and that he won't edit for him in the future. The chapter ends with Hiroshi asking his son when he can visit Gotosensei's house. He's going to head to the rights team at the shonen manga publisher's office, and Hiroshi says he'll visit after noon on Monday. When Hiroshi asks about the visit with his father, he says that it was a good one and that the child welfare official wasn't there. He then says that he has a friend who helps another artist, and he has been hearing a lot of crazy demands from the kid's welfare guy. He adds that it'd be rare to see someone like that, as oblivious as he is about distance
