In this chapter, the narrator tells us that he's going to give his dad a Valentine's Day present: chocolate. He's worried about how to get the message across to Tomaruin, but he doesn't know how to do it. He also worries about the fact that the girls in the chapter are going to be collecting buttons and stickers to put in the cover of the magazine. The narrator is worried that they're going to find out about his secret.
