In this chapter, we learn that the ice giants are growing stronger and stronger, and that their rival, the diamond titan, is losing ground. The ice giants, we are told, are the product of the "gray san's" magic, which is stronger and more powerful than that of the other ice giants. In fact, they are so powerful that they are able to make all the ice in the world. This is the first time that we've seen the two ice giants in the same scene, and it's clear that they're trying to destroy one another. The other ice giant, however, is stronger than the other, and he's not going to let it go. He's going to destroy the whole world.
