In this chapter, we learn that we're in the middle of a 100 year quest, and that the main character, Kirin, is a "dark dragon-slayer knight" . He's super-strong, super-powerful, and super-smart. Kirin tells us that he's going to chop off the head of the guy who's about as big as him in the coffin. He wants to know if there's anything he can do to get him out of the coffin, since he'll be stuck there for the rest of the story. He also wants to make sure that he doesn't burn himself in the process, since that's the only way he can get out.
