In this chapter, we learn that the two of them are the only ones in the dungeon, because they want to know the secret of Elmire's heart. Elmire asks what she means, and Elmire says that if she dies, the heart will lose its power. She says that seven diabolos are trying to get to the heart, and that the first group to reach it is the winner. She tells Elmire that she's not going to participate in the battle, but that if he can get back there with his heart, then she'll fight him. She also says that she won't destroy the heart if they try anything funny. She adds that if they can't find the heart in the first place, then they'll have to find it in the second place. She'll also know that Elmire is safe in the alternate dimension, because he can use spatial teleportation magic to get there. She warns the others to stay close to her, and to keep an eye on Elmire, who's holding a hostage.
