In this short scene, Bardolph and the others talk about the quest they've been on for 100 years. Bardolph says that he's heard the name "the moon dragon god" , but he doesn't know if it's true or not. He's also worried about the fact that "elentear" is full of magic, like "earthland" . He wonders if there's anything magical about the opposite of his own world, which is "just so ordinary." He tells Bardolph that he used a magic spell called "aqua aera" to connect the two worlds, but that everything isn't going well. He tells them that he came from the other side of the world, and that he was brought there by a woman named Wendy. He says that everything he did to save the world was to save his own life, and then he returned to it. But why would she do that, he asks. They can bring the white man back to earth, but not the other way around. They're not going to be able to bring the other guy back either. They have a single ball left, and they need to use it to get home. They don't have enough magic to create the ball, so they're going to have to use magic to get them back.
