In this short scene, Desdemona and the others discuss the situation at hand. They realize that there are too many enemies for them to defeat, and they decide to leave the master in his place. They also realize that the master is in no condition to fight, and Desdemonas fears that they will be transformed into the person they think they are. He tells them to read his mind, and to do so before anyone else joins in the fight.
