In the depths of the ocean, fairy taina and her companions find themselves in the middle of a battle between two powerful forces: the sea monster and the town's dragon-slayer. The sea monster's power is so great that he can "shive a shiver" in the hearts of the two men, and they fear that he is about to "destroy the town" . The ice monster, however, has a better idea: he can turn the ice back to its original state, just like the fire dragon did when he blew out the ice in the first place. He can also turn the water into a whirlpool, which will make it impossible for the ice monster to get back to his original state.
