About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the fairy tail is the offspring of a dragon and a demon, and that he has come to live among humans in order to serve as their food. He tells us that humans are merely "nutritories" for him, and they will always be. He says that humans have killed him many times, but that the people of the towns that have been built upon him over the past hundred years have been faithful to him, offering their lives to him. He is relieved that he is not a jerk, and he says that he will feast upon all of them. The humans agree that if the gods were decent, they would not fight him, but there is nothing decent about him, he says. They agree that humans should not kill animals, but they agree that they should kill animals to live, not just kill everything like him. The two argue about whether or not humans should be able to kill animals for food, but the dragon says that dragons are apex of living, and if humans kill animals just to eat them, they will never live. He compares himself to the fire dragon , who was the king, and says that if he burns the whole world, he will kill enemies of the guild.
