In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Natsu. He is a member of the Guild of Magicians, and he has come to the Enchanted Forest in order to join the other members of the guild. He has come because he is afraid that the Church on the Left Shoulder is blocking his way to the town. He wants to get rid of the Church so that he can join the rest of the gang. He also wants to rid the town of the White Mage, because he believes that he is the only person in the guild who can defeat him. He wonders why they are going to town on the back of the white Mage, and wonders if there is someone there who can help them. He then wonders what is going on with the sleeping White Mage. He realizes that she is an enemy of their guild.
