The chapter opens with a flashback to a year ago, when Nemo rescued a man from a band of bandits. The man is now a member of the Fairy Tail, and he tells Nemo that he's been looking for him ever since. He's in a barrel near the forest, trapped in the mud by a group of robbers. Nemo is so glad to see him that he gives him a name: "Natsu sama" . Nemo apologizes for being in the barrel, but he can't stop talking about how lucky he is to be in the company of the White Mage. The White Mage is wearing a special armor that protects him from lightning, and the armor shatters in one hit.
