In this chapter, Lu tells the others that he is here to ask them to stay away from his wife. He tells them that he once told her that he married her because he was pregnant with his child. He asks them if they really love her, and they reply that they don't. Lu tells them to calm down and says that he used to feel guilty, but now he is responsible for providing them with a good life. He explains that he lost his contacts when he had laser surgery, and that his wife is the only one who knows about it. He says he will help her find her contacts, and hopes that she will come back to him in order to help him. He adds that he will never fall in love because he wants to be with a woman, but because he has so many things in life to do, he will not be willful, and he will be able to find new hobbies and learn from new people.
