The next morning, the two of them discuss the previous night's events. The two decide to spend some time together, and the narrator tells the story of how he fell in love with a girl named Wei-xixi. He tells the girl that she is innocent, and that the girl's father left her because she was too blind to fall for a man like him. The narrator then tells the tale of how, upon waking, he was so disgusted with himself that it made him even more disgusted the next day. He promises that he will not contact Niki again, and he shows off his newly-designed wedding dress. He also tells the reader that he was out of the job for two years, but that he is still able to get into the company because of his background.
