In this chapter, the young lovers discuss the past six years. Unan tells the girl that she has refused to mention his name for six years because she was afraid that he would be dead to her. He tells her that he was afraid because he had been clinging onto the image of hers that he had created in his head. He says that she finally had the courage to face him today and admits that she had been a better person because of the people she had met on her travels. He asks her how she is, and she tells him that she changed her profile picture and that he has started to send her messages. She says that he will think she is trying to sell him out. He will think that she is still an unattractive woman who can be dismissed easily at his convenience. He sends her a message asking her how her life is going. She replies that he is testing her to see if she can respond to his messages in a way that will make him fall in love with her again. The young lovers then go off to check out a newly opened restaurant.
