The narrator tells us that he spent three hours doing makeup on Nika. He's bummed that his sales have been declining, but he's also excited about the holographic projection that's supposed to be used in his office. The narrator asks Nika to take the projection back with her. She's so happy that she doesn't even have to say a word to him. She invites him to come back to her office and post a message on her Facebook page. She apologizes for being late. She says that she and Nika only met a few days ago and that they haven't seen each other in a long time. She tells him that she's a "platonist" , meaning that she wants to have sex with a man who's not a "player" . He runs away after hearing that she won't be having sex with him, and the narrator thinks that he must be a "black screen" because he didn't respond to her message. He tells her that he'd been considering whether or not to accept the platonic relationship, but that he hasn't found a way to do so. He asks why she would even like him.
