The chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which Hiroyuki and his friend, Kurose, had gone out to play pranks on each other. This time, the flashback shows that the two men are still in love with each other, despite the fact that Hiroyuki is now twenty-one years old and Kurose is twenty-four years old. The two men have been friends since they were students at the same school in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and they have been in love ever since. The flashback also shows that, although they are now in love, their relationship is still in its early stages.
