Valentine's Day is upon us, and we're introduced to Harum and Ganymede, two young lovers who've fallen in love with each other. Harum's a little worried about his crush, because he's worried about what she's going to say to him on the day of the big day. He's also worried about how she'll react to the fact that her father is away on a business trip, and he'd like to make sure that she doesn't say anything to him that might upset him. He also worries about how he'll respond to the news that his daughter-in-law is engaged to a man of his own age, and that she'd be upset if she found out that he was engaged to someone else. Haru's not worried, though, because Haru and his friend are still in love, and they've been fighting ever since Haru first started hanging out with her. They're still fighting, and Haru is worried that they're going to get into a fight again. He tells Haru that he and her friend have been fighting all the time since they first got together, and it's gotten to the point that Haru can't bear to be apart from her. He asks her why she hasn't been eating with her father, and she tells him that she has to make herself scarce because she'm so lonely when she and her father aren't together.
