About This Chapter
In the second year of high school, the girls are divided into two classes, one for boys and one for girls. One class is for boys, and the other for girls, and they are separated from each other by class. One of the girls, Yuka, is in class b, while the other two are in class 2. Yuka wants to go back to the boys' class, but the other girls refuse to go. She tells Yuka that she can't, because she's separated from the boys. She also tells her that the boys are ignoring her, and that they're ignoring her as well. She says that she doesn't want to be separated from her friends, but that she'll have to go to class b if she wants to be with the boys again. She's not going to give up, she says, and she wants Yuka to come back for the class trip. She asks Yuka if she can still give her her shirt, and he says that he'll give her his shirt, too, but he's going to have to give it to the other boys. He says that Yuka is so different that he didn't realize she was different until he heard her name. He also says that if he looked too close, he'd get sucked in. He's so different, he says, that he feels like he has to go sit in the second class. He wants to give Yuka the shirt that she gave him, but she won't let him, saying that she had to give the shirt to her friend, shiraccho, because he broke the dress code. She blames Yuka for breaking the code, and says that even if she were a boy, she'd give her shirt to the boy who even if he was black, would still be able to get away with wearing a tie. She adds that if a girl is pretty, she pulls out all of the stops for her
