When the festival opens, the number of people in the park breaks 100,000 faster than any other place in the country. The narrator tells us that he's with his friend, and that he wants to be with him, even if he doesn't remember what he felt when he first met him. The two of them argue about whether or not they should go to the festival, and the narrator admits that he does want to go, even though he can't really remember what it was like when he met her. He tells the narrator that the festival is a great opportunity for him and his friend to have a good time, and he asks the narrator if he can respond to his confession.
