In this short scene, Akabane tries to find out what happened to Mishima. He's worried that she's been lost, and he's also worried about his neck. Mishima is nowhere to be found, he says, so he'll just give up and go back to the hotel. He wonders if he should head down to the ski resort to see if he can find Mishima, but he can't find her. He also wonders if Mishima and the other students in the Harumi dormitory are together, because they're not together much. He doesn't want to tell them that he lost her, because it would be too dangerous, but Mishima says he'd rather die than be alone out on the slopes. He thinks he hears the sound of a crash, and it's Mishima's turn to freak out. He starts to worry that he might die, and Mishima tells him that he was just having a "dream" . He says he was fine, and that Mishima isn't going to die, either. He goes on to say that he didn't mean to cause any trouble, and now he apologizes for causing trouble. He tells Mishima that he and his friend went out to search for Mishima alone, and both of them are safe. He asks Mishima if he could talk to his dorm leader about his own stupidity, and the two men agree to talk about it, too. He wants Mishima to talk to him about something else, and then Mishima asks him to pick him up, so Mishima goes to pick up his friend.
