The two of them go off to find the wallet, but they don't find it until they're in the middle of a pile of rubble. It turns out that the people who found the wallet were the ones who ran back to the monster's house with their tails between their legs. They're not the only ones that ran back there with tails between legs, but the one they found was the one who ran away with the wallet. The two guys decide that they like the kid better than the guy who ran off with the tail. They introduce themselves as Yutamurakami and Aihara, and they explain that they were caught by the monster and thrown aside during the fight. They decide to have their own way of fighting the monster. They have a broth soup and some fried tofu for dinner.
