In this chapter, we learn that the fight between the two men is designed to be a combat between two human beings. In other words, it's a fight between two giants. The giant is supposed to be strong, but the other guy isn't strong enough to take on the giant. This is the first time that we've seen the two of them fighting, and the giant is psyched to be fighting. He compares the fight to a battle between a truck and a giant, and he feels like he's "colliding with a truck" . He's so excited that he can't stop thinking about the fight. He says that his opponent is just like him in that he wants to be the strongest man in the world, but he doesn't know how to do it. He also says that he and his opponent are similar in that they're both looking for power, but they also do it with out knowing what it is. They're also like each other in that their goal is pure, and they don't care what other people think of
