In this chapter, we find out that the two of them have been watching each other for a long time, and that they're now inside each other's bodies. They're in the same place, and they've been looking at each other all this time. We learn that their bodies are connected to each other, so they can't be separated from each other. We also learn that they have been looking for information about the world, and about the monster, since their souls didn't come back to life when they were reborn. The monster has been searching through the memories of everyone who has ever lived, and he's found that there's a lot of sadness in the world. He's decided to make the world go away, because he thinks that killing each other will make everyone sad. He asks if his parents are sad, and his mother says that there is nothing sad about them. He wants to know how he can use his power to stop the monster from killing him, but he knows that the world is about to disappear soon, so he doesn't want to be a burden to those who have already disappeared. He tells us that he'll transform with the monster next time, if his sister can do it.
