Inside the monster's room, the Governess is trying to figure out what's going on. She's not sure if she's supposed to be in charge of the school, or if she just wants to be a teacher. She doesn't know what else she wants to do after she graduates. The Governess tries to convince her that she'll be able to do whatever she wants with her life after she gets out of college. She tells him that she was just called in to the school and told she'd been chosen to be the new principal's assistant. She asks why he's wearing dirty pants, and he tells her that he needs to wait for the fire to burn down before he can do anything. He's also worried that the smell of the fire will make the place smell bad, so he'll have to wait until it's done. He wants to know why he has a dog, and why he needs a mascot, and what he should do with his monster. He also wants to find his phone, but he can't remember where it is. He wonders if the police will find it, and if he should try to save the girl. He knows that he should have just tried to save his own life, not the girl's.
