In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the girl who disappeared earlier in the story. We are told that she is the same girl we saw in the previous chapter, and we are also told that her name is "Naoto" and that she has disappeared. We learn that the girl's identity is unknown to us, and that her disappearance was caused by "an overwhelming feeling of fear" . The girl explains that the man in the photograph is not the same man that she saw earlier, but that he is transformed. She explains that he took everything she was and erased it. The girl says that she doesn't remember what she was trying to accomplish with her power, and she apologizes for not being able to remember her name. She also says that her power is more suited to stealing cars than human beings. She thanks the man for his friendship, and says that he owes her one.
