In this chapter, we learn that the telescopic collector has threatened to reveal the identities of all the members of the super-human team. In order to protect their secrets, they've asked each of them to take an oath that they'll return to their human form if they're caught by the enemy. The only one who's willing to do this is pet 00, because he's the only person who has anything to hide. He doesn't have to hide his identity, he just has to do it in a way that he can trust. He's not going to hide it, he says, even if it means he has to swear to protect the secrets of his super-friends. Pet 00 asks about the guy in the helmet, and pet 00 says that he looks like he'd never hurt a fly, so it's safe to assume that he was the one who got him here.
