The chapter opens with a description of the situation in Falmuth. It is reported that a hundred humans are marching toward the city. The monster tells the reader that he is the demon lord Milimnava and that he intends to declare war on the city and its inhabitants. He tells the audience that he has signed a contract with the city's demon lord Carrion. He says that he will meet with Carrion in one week to discuss the matter. He explains that he wants to rule the city from what he hears about the monsters. He believes that the city is a "slime right" so he will rule it from his own strength. He asks the audience if they think the master razen would be angry if he found out that the monsters were planning to attack him. He adds that the orders were to cause a stir, and give the other monsters waiting in the forest a chance to attack. He does not see the problem with this plan. He thinks that the monster's power is perfect for this purpose. He also says that she does not need good acting or words to be convincing. She uses her powers to mislead others. She says that the man who touched her touched her "pid anyone" and that she is using it to mislead the guards. She adds that she will follow the monster for life. The chapter ends with the monster saying that he does not think the group is right for their country. He is surprised that monsters are stupid babes.
