This is a locked chapterChapter 10: Inherited Will
About This Chapter
The girl who lost all of her belongings to the flames travels across worlds, using her powers to protect others. But the flames steadily consume her, until she is no longer able bend them to will. The girl asks the sage if he has any idea of the spirit's intentions. The sage replies that he does not know, but that he has picked up on the desire to wipe them out. He says that he is going to die trying to get them closer to him. He tells the sage that he still does not have a way to attack the spirit, but he does know that water is strong against fire, so he can use potions on the spirit. He asks if the flare circle of the flame is a mistake, and the sage says that it was a mistake. He also says that if he had not been so kind to the girl, she would not have been able to bend the flames to her will. He thanks the sage for being kind to her, and says that she has been sleeping for an entire week since then. She has been in deep sleep for the whole week, he says, and if she had been without him, she might not have regained her senses of self. He is glad that she is awake, because he thought she might never regain her conciousness
