In this chapter, we learn that Carrion has been trying to bribe Villuvius to allow him to use his influence with the White House. He has even gone so far as to offer his services as a "puppet" to the "lord" . He tells the "Lord" that he wishes to be able to serve the "milim" instead of the "demon lord" , and that he is disappointed that the "lady ramiris" have not been able to do so. He asks Villuvian to call him when it is time for him to manage the territory, and he tells him that it is not the "ten great demon" that needs to be replaced, but rather the "stupid veldora" who is responsible for the "disorganization" of the country. He also says that he feels like he has just gotten shorter, and now that he thinks of it, he feels as though he just got shorter. He says that after he died, the "creature" was able to con the "foundation" from the dead man. He then says that "it is true to be a walking dead / This is true death / You foolish / arrogant / Oh my dear clay man". He then tells the audience that the president ignored his warning and was carried away, despite the "weakling" he had done to him.
