The chapter opens with a description of the night that Nemo defeated the "wild sky dragon" . Nemo tells the reader that he was invited to a fancy drinking establishment by his employer, Mr. J. Lorry, and that he spit at the price list of the establishment, but he thinks that the mask hid the fact that the drink was expensive. The chapter ends with Nemo telling the reader about his encounter with the "little slime" , whom he recognizes as an elf. He explains that he often stops by the place to work, but that he is not exclusive there. He says that if he were to visit, he would be able to scout a few elves to work for him in the future. He then returns to Engrassia, where he has set up a magic circle for the "warp portal," which he learned from the vesta.
