In this short scene, we learn that the girl is a student at a high school in the U.S. and that she has just seen a picture of a boy and a girl talking in the hallway. The girl tells us that she saw the boy and girl talking, and that one of the girls was whispering to the other girl about her future. She says that she doesn't know why the girl isn't in her room to talk to the boy about his future, but she does know that he's having an affair with the girl's teacher. She's not worried about that, though, because she thinks that the teacher and the boy are just having a conversation about school. We learn that after the phone call, the girl went to see Hiroyuki, but Hiroyuki told her that he couldn't be with her anymore because he was busy with another girl. We also learn that Hiroyuki's wife, Mami, is married, but that she and Hiroyuki were alone together.
