About This Chapter
In this short scene, the girl complains to the teacher about her inability to attend class because of her illness. The teacher agrees to let the girl use her lessons during the day. The girl wonders if the girl's friends have invited her to lunch, and the girl wonders whether the girl has any friends at all. When the girl tells the teacher that the girl will not be coming to class anymore, the teacher is shocked and asks the girl if she means her twin sister or her older sister. She tells the girl that she is sorry that she has to go, but the girl says that she was a little relieved when the girl ordered her to give the girl extra time, but that it was good that she wanted to do it. She wonders if she can get jealous of her own cousin, who is using her house as a school, and if she will be jealous of the girl when she comes to visit
