The Governess tells the Governess that she's leaving for school. She's worried that she won't be able to make it back to her hometown, but she'll make sure to pick her up at the school if she'd like to. The girl says that she has some things she wants to return to school for, and that's all she needs to do now that she can't go back to school herself. She says that her mother just told her that she would be attending school the next day, and she thinks that'll be a good thing, too. She doesn't want to worry about whether or not she can make it to school, though, because she knows that there's still a lot of work to be done before she can return to her home town. The old Governess is worried that this will be a burden on her shoulders, but the girl assures her that it'll all be okay. She tells the girl that she will drop her off near her mother's house, but that if she wants her to come home, then she can drop the girl off at her house.
