In this short scene, the audience is introduced to a number of characters who have been introduced in the previous chapters. The first person introduced is a young man named Ming, who has just returned from a trip to China with his father. Ming tells the audience that he is a good actor and that he and his father have been trying to trick the demon girl into thinking that they are brothers and sisters. Ming asks Ming why he is tapping into the power of the two gems, and Ming tells him that he has learned a secret from a "grand master" . Ming then asks Ming what he wants from his brother. Ming replies that he wants to know what his brother wants. Ming says that Ming is his brother and sister, and that Ming has been hunting him for 15 years. Ming is shocked to learn that Ming and his brother are brothers. He asks Ming if he is going to die today. Ming explains that he will die today if he does not give in to his brother's demands. He tells Ming that the master of the gems had predicted that the evil god would come back and that only the "inheritor" of chaos power would be able to save the world. When Ming asks why he has become an egg, Ming says, "I'm going to kill you today to help you complete nirvana progress."
