In this chapter, we learn that the "guardian beast" has come to the "hot springs" in order to protect the twin "snow lotuses" from the "chaos shield" . The guardian beast tells the kid that he's here to warn him about what's going on. The kid is confused, but the guardian beast reassures him that they're just there to help protect the "twin snow lotuses."
