In this chapter, we learn that the strongest cultivation system is to keep one's voice down. In other words, to keep from speaking too loudly, one must keep a very low profile. This is especially true of the young protagonist, who is hiding out in his mother's room. He tells his mom that he's going to get an invitation to a birthday party for his father's granddaughter. He's afraid that his mom will find out about it, but she assures him that she'll do her best to make sure he gets the invitation.
