We learn that the lord has explicitly told them to behead "Hanhao" , and that the boy's body is too big for them to keep alive. They've got to kill him pronto, and they can't do it without him. They crawl out of the hole in the wall and try to find the boy, but he's already in the hole. He's been hanging out with the snake, and the snake is coming after him. The snake is getting hotter and hotter, and it's killing the boy. They have to get the heck out of there, pronto.
