Now that he's got the pill, he can't believe that he hasn't been able to kill anyone. He's not going to let anyone kill him, he says, and he'll kill anyone who's even remotely close to him. He wants to kill as many people as he can before he has to kill them all. He doesn't want to be the guy who kills innocent people and then wants to take revenge on his friends.
