At the midnight salon, Asahi tries to convince Milady not to tell her husband that he is dead. Milady is afraid that he will hate her and that she will have to leave him. She tries to tell him that she still loves him, but that she is too selfish to be happy with him. Asahi asks Milady if she still cares for him, and Milady replies that she does, but she is afraid of what he will think of her. She tells Milady that she can't marry him because he is holding some thing, and she begs him to marry her. As she is about to leave, Milady hears kanda's voice and realizes that she did not know that Milady was pregnant. She apologizes to Milady for what she has done, and says she is sorry that she didn't love him.
