OK, now we're back in the present, and we've got a new character. It's the boss of the salon, who's a little worried about her. She's worried that the guy she's hanging out with at the bar is a "boy friend" , but she doesn't know what to do. She tells the boss to knock on the boss's door and let her in, but the boss won't hear her. The boss is shocked, and she asks the boss if he's okay, and the boss says that he is, and that he'd like to see her. So the boss knocks on the door again, and this time, the boss recognizes her as the woman who hung out with her boyfriend at a bar earlier in the day. This time, though, she'll be the one to tell the boss that she isn't okay, because she just applied for a part-time job at the salon because she loves to work with customers. She says that now that her son is in pre-school, she has a little bit of extra time, so she can reject the girl's application for a job. And then she laughs and says that she and her husband are still good friends, even though they haven't seen each other for a long time.
